Daily color puzzle
Color Sudoku: The Daily Hue Grid Puzzle
Swap the scrambled tiles until the board becomes one smooth color gradient. Corners are fixed; every other tile is yours to solve.
Select two movable tiles to swap them.
How to play Color Sudoku
- Start with the four fixed corner colors.
- Tap one scrambled tile, then tap another tile to swap them.
- Build a smooth gradient across every row and column.
- Solve the daily puzzle in fewer moves, then share your result.
Why color sudoku feels different
Classic sudoku asks for numbers. Color Sudoku asks for visual order. You read hue, saturation, and brightness instead of digits, which makes every solve fast, calm, and easy to replay.
Daily and practice puzzles
The daily board is seeded by date so every player sees the same challenge. Practice mode creates unlimited 3x3, 4x4, and 5x5 puzzles for quick training.

Color Sudoku FAQ
What is the goal?
Restore the hidden gradient. A solved board has each tile in its original color position from top-left to bottom-right.
Can I drag tiles?
The current version uses tap-to-swap controls because they are reliable on phones, tablets, and desktop browsers.
Are the daily puzzles the same for everyone?
Yes. The daily puzzle uses the UTC date as its seed, so all players receive the same challenge each day.
Is there a color-blind mode?
Yes. Use the Cues button to display small numbered markers on the tiles when color alone is not enough.
Do you store my puzzle data?
Your moves, streak, and best times stay in your browser storage. This version does not collect accounts, comments, or leaderboard submissions.
